Can you tell what fish is in the image?

My boss brought his aquarium at work and doesn't know what species is the fish.

I can't tell you what species but it looks like some sort of catfish. It's not a Loach though (my first instinct)
Does it have scales?

What/ the loach or the rasbora, there are a few fish with 'kubotai' in their name
