Unknown Fish

i purchased some fish at a pet shop asked for 4 danios and when i got them home found the store clerk had given me four different type of fish none of which i have been able to identify.

can you help me and which fish would be able to go with them currently a pleco and 4 zebra danios live with them.

well i would load the picture but umm i dont know how could you explain that fisrt please im not very good at this

first you will need a photobucket account (free) or flickr or any image hosting site uplaod your pics onto there and then highlight the img code and paste it into the thread you are writing

without pics it is hard to id im afraid

for speed, place your pictures in the "members aquarium and fish pictures" section. make your pics, around 50k-100k, and then go to the bottom of the, "edit screen", you will see a button marked "attachments". click that, and navigate, on your comp, to the pictures. select and then click "ok". if you wish, you can point to the pictures in this section. make a post in this thread with a link to the "picture" thread.

in the long run. get yourself a "image host" "Photobucket", "imageshack" or the like. upload your pictures there. then copy the "IMG" link. pasting this link, into a post, will make the picture appear. (lol, or should). this will allow you to post, pictures, in any section you like.

what fish can go with them cos the big one rallys the 2 smaller ones to pick on my zebra danios but the pleco separates them when they do

btw how many gallons is a 70 litre tank

is my camera that big at imgs ill make sure to scale them down next time

I take it its the 2 small ones if so they are a tetra they look like pristella but the colours on the tial instead of the dorsal fin

can i actually add more fish to the tank once i know what these are.

apart from these 3 there are 4 zebra danios (inch big each) and one 4inch pleco

its a 60 litre tank

i would wait untill you find out what these are first and then you can plan around them and get advise on what to put with them

the tetras also look like silver tipped tetra but the colours on the tail are on the base in the silver tipped. I honestly have no idea, maybe they are some pristella/silvertipped hybrid!!

why dont you call the store and tell them they got it wrong and actually get your danios?

there not much of a problem i think that one is a rasmora its the big silver on with the pike like mouth thats bothering the other fish on occasion

thats what i was thinking ive looked at a tetra species list but i cant see these
