Well today my mom bought 2 angelfish when we went to the LFS to LOOK around. Well i put thyem in the 55 and in 5 minutes my Festivum had already Bitten off part of one angels fin and Was hunting another on ein a Suction cupped plant ont eh back wall. THey are in the 10 gallon and doing terribly. They look sso clumsy. THey are also Really small. Like 1". Now im thinking : what the heck happens when they outgrow this tank or i make it into my nano?". anyone have any ideas? i cant take it back so now im looking for someone to take it.

saw a Geo today. I want it. The name was Geo Brazam or Trazam or something like that. Is it ringing any bells for anyone?

tell your mom that if she wants to keep them she will have to buy them a bigger tank or they will die an excusiating death because they will be stunted.

All you need is a 20 gallon high, only $70 at petsmart or a 29 gallon for $100 at Wal*Mart.

And you wont even have to wait to cycle the tank because you have a cycled 55 gallon already.

I think you misread, it was his festivum being aggressive

No my severum doesnt Notice them but my festivum HATES new fish. If i can get the angels to grow almost the size of the festivum do u think it will work?


Dwarfs yur a genius. It wasnt marked as a brasilliensis but thats what it is

the festivum is about 2". I feel really dumb because These angels are really nice. Theyre gold! My festivum does not tolerate new tankmates at all. My pleco is still recovering from when i put him in the tank.

Try moving the decor around so the angels can stake out some territory

Ill try that but the angels have to stay in the 10 for awhile. their fins are ripped up pretty badly and im not even sure if they will live or not.

UPDATE- The angels are doing much better and are eating and swimming. I am thinking about moving the festivum to the 10 and the angels to the 55 and then after a few days change the plants and stuff around and put the festivum back in. My JD is a rainbow cichlid so thats no longer a problem
