These appeared over night . Can someone tell me what they are please ?

Eggs, or alien seeds.

What kind of eggs could they be ? Only have peppered cories and neon tetras .the rest are livebearers

They look like fert balls from root tab capsules. Certain tabs have the little yellow balls which come to the surface when cories etc shift through your sand

Yes I have them in . Was thinking it could be that . Do they do any harm to the fish or water when they get to the surface?

I second the fert root tabs opinion.

As for these exposed root tabs leaching anything to the water column, it’s possible as some root tabs are good for slowly releasing the nutrients slowly into substrate and others quickly release their nutrients quickly once in water column.

It kind of depends on brand and quality of the root tabs really.

If it was me I would simply push the tabs back under the substrate.

No not at all. I push mine back under but they wont cause any harm above.
