two of the worst tanks I've ever seen :(

The motherboard is behind the tank, if you look closely you can see the expansion slots.

Hey Fish Folks. There is no end to peoples stupidity. I'm not trying to out do this one, but I was at a art/craft show. Some lady (?) had several clear glass vases with narrow necks and openings. Just fill with water, add betta, shove potted plant into the opening, Viola!! instant art. It was early spring , I told the lady the water was cold, and the fish would suffacate as the surface of the water was covered. She and the management advised me that this was art, and those were just fish anyway. Walking away muttering and shaking my head. KF

oh, nm, i see the motherboard now, that tank would be pretty neat if it had water cooling, and the water was filtered fish water, then the tank would have a heat souce so they betta would be more active when the computer is on

The computer one's cool. It'd be a good betta tank if it didn't overheat with the CPU running..
ja, but think of having to do a water change every two weeks. talk about a pain
Plus, who keeps their computers within easy veiwing? Mine is on the floor, tucked beside the side of the desk. It would work though, you could easil add a small filter on the side, with a trickle type system!

*dreams*

DB :fish:

I don't think the computer one's too bad but I'd be worried about temp. fluctuations and water leaking - water changes would be real messy... The wedding one is just plain tasteless.

That computer tank is horrible - there are far better motherboards on the market now! Oh, and about the idea of running a watercooling system to a fishtank; any machine worthy of watercooling generates about 150W of heating constantly; you would need a HUGE tank to dissapate that much heat without any problems. Besides, most water blocks, fittings and pumps made for watercooling aren't fish safe.
