Two headed fish !!!! (with pic)

Checking my Astatotilapia Brownae fry and noticed one struggling to swim, but on closer inspection I found it had two heads!!!! gross!!!!!. It has two heads that then fuse into one body and tail, but it can`t swim properly so it will starve pretty soon. Should I do the decent thing and put it out its misery?

have picture dude? I have not yet seem any tropical fish with two head. That might be some where screw up when he is at egg stage. I would love to see one.

whoow! If i were you i would try to keep it. feed it with tweezers or something. You never know how much you could sell it for on e-bay.

I have heard that 2 heads is a deformity found in some fry. The survival rate is probably 0% or very close to it. Most breeders would cull the fish as would I. I feel it is cruel to keep an animal alive that couldn't possibly live a normal life. If it can't swim properly now, it probably never will.

its very small, only 10mm and only a few days old, but I`ll try to get a pic then feed it to my cichlids for a quick death.

I would try to raise it because it could help scientist descover new things about there genes and deformaties and all that.It could help to stop this problem one day and save more fishes lives

Um............ I'd try breeding it again. I'd have a whole tank of those if possible. could you imagine double the food with Half the CRAP. Only one pooper. two faces one pooper.......SWEET

my tiger barb got his eye pecked out by a fellow tiger barb. I wish I would have kept him alive in a different tank. I didn't. He's dead now.

I am going to have to go against what everyone else was saying. I vote to either donate this fish to the scientists who are struggling, or to kull it. I am saying this because this fish has no chance to lead a normal life. Think about it, you are having to feed the fish with tweezers to get anything to it. That is not a normal, descent life.
