Hi kids,

I got TrueBlue from Yeevia a few weeks ago. He was healthy as a clam, and very active.

This is him before:

Last night, I noticed he was legarthic.

Today, he looked alittle pale, and breathing heavy. He's been sitting ontop of the plant with his mouth just at the water's top. He refused the food, completely ignored the bloodworms and pea (two things he usually dives after). He's pale mostly around the face. He's looking more grey, than black.. the fins and everything else looks good. No sign of ich or velvet.. nothing bad around his body.

I did a waterchange the day before yesterday, so I know the water is clean (I used water conditioner and salt as usual).

Help?

EDIT: He's kinda resting on his side at the top, straight up, once once in a while he'll lean to the side.

I dont think he's gunna make it. He's on his side on the top, and I can see a red spot on his tummy, looks almost like a wound. Belly/chest is almost white

I cant take a pic, the bulb just blew out (I landed it too hard on the floor and it went out) and the flash just bounces off. no luck with pictures

Hmm, sounds like an ulcer...

I would think macaryn and macaryn two, salt and colloidal *might* help him, good luck!

:( he doesnt look like he's going to survive the night. I gave him some macaryn 2.

is there a site where I can read up on those ulcers so I can confirm if that's what he has?

and what causes ulcers?

I cant anwser your question about where to find info on ulsers but I just wanted to say good luck and I hope he makes it
