But yes, the rain will be the main thing with our ground already weakened from relentless rain over the past couple of weeks.

I didn't even know it exists ! How about battery powered filter ?

no battery powered filters but if you have an air operated sponge filter, then a battery powered air pump will run that.

You can buy power inverters from auto shops and these plug into the cigarette lighter in a car. Then you plug a normal electrical appliance into the power inverter and it will run off the car's battery. You start the car up and let it idle and run stuff from that.

When we had long power failures I used a power inverter with a long extension cord that ran into my fish room and provided power for the air pump.
