Transfering Mature Media 2hour Journey

Well im taking my tanks up to Newcastle after next Friday and my only concern is the media i really don't wanna have to cycle the tank again its gonna take me about 2 and half hours to drive from Manchester to Newcastle then obviously the time it takes to set my tank up again i dont care about my other tanks media as im changing that to marine so i can just scrap that

So is there away this can be done i only need to keep 1 sponge alive

Seal it in a plastic bag with 50% tank water and 50% air and put in 1 or 2 fish food flakes and it will be fine. Two and half hours isn't that long for media to be out the tank

Or you can add a drop or two of pure ammonia for the journey.

Sound like good ideas you think this will be fine even after say 3 and a half hours considering the journey and the tank setup ? btw thanks for the reply's guys

Yes it will be fine as long as the media is kept in tank water and has air.

I think it's roughly 12 hours before the bacteria begins to die off
