Hi, I am going to be going and buying a vho setup to upgrade my 55g tank next weekend as the lfs is having a sale. I got the wood for a canopy (laminated cabinet shelfs so it is as water resistant as possible) The thing is, the length of the top piece of wood is 47.8" and with the end caps and 48" bulbs this won't be long enough, however, there are 46.5" vho lights as well, does anyone know the total length of a 46.5" vho light with endcaps on it, so I know if I need to rethink my canopy design.
