Why is every letter in a topic title capitalized? What is the point in this, anyone over the age of ten should know where capital letters go. It's particularly annoying when you write a scientific name, the Genus should be capitalized and the species name should NOT, so what is the point in having the forum capitalize every single First letter of a word regardless of whether you type it with a lowercase letter?

Maybe it's just the way the forum board is setup to work. If we are able to disable this function wouldn't some lazy folks just type everything in lowercase which would be equally annoying, that would be the flip side of the coin.
I know what you mean about scientific nomenclature but I think people will still get the drift even though it's capitalized.

This has been Explained before, it's to make the forum look neater and so that no one can post titles in all capital letters to gain attention.
