My Platinum Rummy’s have been spawning lately… one is very fat… dare I say gravid… I can’t get a very good picture… will try for a better one… she releases her own eggs as a scatterer , right??

A gravid female fish is one with developing babies in her (livebearers). Other fishes are just egg scatterers and are full of eggs.
The females need males to breed with in order to release the eggs. If there are no males to drive her (chase her), she won't release them.

These have been group spawning regularly…. I just haven’t seen one this big before… I hope it is just eggs, and not some sort of growth
