It's been several weeks, since I did shrimp cocktails for my fish ( a blend of several small ( brine and others ) shrimp, and bloodworm frozen cubes, thawed and mixd up in a shaker bottle full of RO water... the fish love these, and the Denison Barbs are particularly boisterous, this morning, after shrimp cocktails last night... even though small cherry shrimp are larger than what is in the shaker, I'm guessing the bright red blood worms, and mostly brine mix, is just too close to the young cherry shrimp, and I saw a couple of them get eaten this morning by the Denison's... they don't seem to bother the really large shrimp, but the young appear to be too close to their favorite meal...
I guess that is OK, as I just had another big hatching in my cherry shrimp breeding tank, they were all over in the tank, at last nights feeding...
