Have you ever thought to ask whether or not this person plans to keep these fish, whether or not they belong to this person...I have taken care of peoples fish in my own tanks, i just think that before you assume, you should question.

Would it just not be easier to answer the question and say but I'm only keeping them for a friend, for set amount of time, or till they are so big?
