fish: I have a 55 gallon tank that has been set up for about 8 or 9 months. I started with 3 female swords and one male. The orignal male died but I did have one male survive to maturity and he is a green male. I had one green female, one sunset and one pineapple. The green female is the most productive. Of all the fry that these females are having only the male fry seem to be surviving. Is this just the survival of the fittist or is there something I need to do to help the female fry. I am down to 1 female in the last week. Do I need to add more females?( oh yea I proably have about 30 to 40 fry ranging in size they all seem to be male)

I can tell the difference between males and females. I know the males are surviving and the females aren't. Some aren't 2months old yet and they are definitly male as they have started grown their sword tail.
