Came back with...
Five (5) Ctenopoma acutirostre (Leopard Bushfish "tiddlers" of ~3cm)... Yep, going for the uncommon school, as they will have room in the 540l when its setup and they get bigger!

Four Golden Wonder Panchax, with single male (stunning gold in shop, cannot wait to see him colour up in tank)
One African Butterfly Fish

All about half way through acclimitising!

Loads of new fish since I last went nearly three weeks ago, including...
Rainbows (Red; Neon Dwarf; Forktail Blue Eye; Gertrude)
Annual Killifish (~10 different species, including gorgeous Persian, that only live six months? Plus gardneri)
Two (?) species of Elephant Nose fish
Very cute looking Borneo Red Eye Puffers (now reading online that they are rarely available in trade)
A lovely group of African Fan/Filter Shrimp, which I need to be patient about buying any for another six weeks or so, so that tank is six months mature

havent been in a lfs for ages, dont use them any more , got fed up of getting ripped off . my fish come from specialist importers/breeders , i make my own food and get my dechlor online, altho my next purchase will be a 3 stage hma filter , which means i wont even have to buy dechlor any more either .

I handed over my 2 Bolivian Rams as the guys at the lfs had agreed to 'rehome' them for me. 2 males really haven't got on well and one was beginning to suffer as the other was bullying. They went into the display tank and it`s apparently very likely that some of the specialist buyers will take them. They have promised me that they won`t be sold to 'just anyone' who wants them due to the stress they`ve already gone through...........I can but hope that will be the case.

I came home with another 2 albino corys to go with the other 4 I have, hopefully those little guys will be happier now.



Hubby and I were having a good look at the Seashell Aquariums that are on display, I`m soooooooo itching to be able to chose and buy one.

Today I bought a krib pair, lovely red colour and showing spawning behaviour!

I do love the look of Paradise Fish, but I've always been wary of their "be the bully or sulk" personaility in a community!
