When I first got the toadstool it it was much more yellow and brighter

Now it aint oipen as much and iaint as bright

WHY?

I will by another though on thursday

could be your lighting.. and also soft corals hate being touched.. they dont like hands in the tank etc so if you are in the tank doing work expect them to sulk for a few days

Toadstools do well towards the top of the tank with moderate water flow.

Its trial and error in the best of times.

Oh ok - I've touched it a few times. Does this mean I have killed it . Will it not come ou t fora while. So would I have to wait a while for it to come out. And I need to feed the sun coral every 3 days - if I don't touch the coral wil it be ok. WIll the toadstol survive even though I have touched it.....or will it just be damaged for a while.

Anyways I am buying another on friday as i Love tehm so much (all of a sudden) and Iwill just put this one somewhere hidden in the tank where I cant see - although light.

Please help thanks

It will recover. (Or should)

They also do this to shed their mucus. if they are introduced into new tank or the water conditions change then they usually try and shed their skins. this means they shut down for a few days then a layer of skin peels off and they open again
