To Worm Or Not To Worm?

A friend of mine is adamant that you should routinely work any wild caught fish, regardless if they are showing any signs of problems. What do others think and/or do?

I agree completely. Once in your tank, and being wormed, you should have to worm them again. Unless, your fish are showing signs. But comming from the wild, you never know what they are bringing in.

I worm my tanks every 6 months and new shop bought fish are kept in quaranteen and wormed before being added to the main tank.

I have never wormed but do have some wormer plus. Is it like normal meds where you put carbon in after so many days to remove the med? If so when do you add the carbon? I'll have to fish out my shrimp!
