To many water changes

ass rdd1952 large changes in water chemistry will only happen whne regular water changes aren't being done. it may of been the shock of nitrates. if he hadn't changed the wate for a while the the lung fish would of slowly been getting used to high nitrates then a large water change would suddenly drop these levels thus shocking the fish and possible dieing as a result along side the PH shock of a large water change.

right i am here sorry for not getting back to you all i forget my i d just rember it
now i told suzie that i had my lungfish 15 year not 15 year old and i can give u nane of the shop where i get the fish from and tele no to so u can talk to him the shop in practical fishkeeping as i am from notts if u get a copy of the mag u find it in there to the fish was old when i get it i could not do a water cheage to i get some aquasafe to put in to the tap water i use i did smell water chege to help but not having aquasafe which kill chlorine and heavy metals which harmful to fish .,the lungfish was a live sat and sun but when i did the water in the afternoon it pass away but all the other fish are ok two goldfish three catfish i use to have a aquasafe a round the home but much off use it up help that help but .....???? p.s. sorry about spelling :kana:

I'l ask what I did on the other site, what was your PH beforw you desided to mess with it.

How often do you do water changes??

and what are the results of Ammonia, NitrIte and NitrAte.

so how do you know that it was ammonia or NitIte, that killed you fish.
