Does any body have an tips for catching a holding female cichlid its so hard. She is about 3".

use two nets and chase her into one with the other.

I agree with the 2 net theory, works every time!!!



move out plants, rocks she will hide in or the net will get caught in

2 nets and be prepared to dismantle your tank as they don't come willingly.

I caught her and i had to tke everything out to catch her and she spat last night i got her just in time as soon as i got up this morn i saw my female Morri is now holding i feel another chase comin on i also gotto catch 2 plecs.
