hello,

i have a 85 gallon tank!!!!!!!!!

i was just wondering about your opinion wat to put in it

i am getting a few tiger oscars but wat other fish will go good with them

i am also getting a common plec

thanks :)

Hi Scottie

isn't a "few" tiger oscars already too crowded in an 85 gallon?
I think its suppose to be one oscar in a 70+

and you also have a common plec. If your common plec is small i think you can go with that 85 gallon with one plec and one tiger

In my opinion, a tiger oscar looks cool with clown loaches(a group of em)

ya i meant like 1 oscar or 2 small ones
sorry for the confusion

ya so u think a couple of clown loaches are cool
i really like the loaches

any other suggestions!!!!

Anything that will not be eaten by them , well the loaches are all right, I have kept angels with them and they were all fine.

Our lass has a parrot fish in with her oscar, and the plec should go fine aslong as hes big enough not to get eaten..

Do yourself and the fish a favour and don't mix the Oscar with any other cichlids. Silver dollars and clown loaches are good idea's, but make sure you get those loaches at a decent size or the Oscar could outgrow them and eat them.

ya i meant like 1 oscar or 2 small ones
Small Oscars get big too. If you wanted a pair of Oscars then it's worth starting off with several small ones to make sure you get a pair, randomly mixing two Oscars will usually end up with fighting between them. Also, if you keep a pair of Oscars then there's really no room for other fish.
