So Ive had 6 albino barbs for about 2weeks and today I have recognised this behaviour going on behind my wood.

Since this, about 3 hours ago, the male has just been going mental, likes hes been pumped with something, is it just a dominance thing?

How do I embed? Do the codes not work?

Yes, it's a dominance thing; usually two males fighting over the girls!

Thought it might be, hes abit of a nutter to be fair. Could you view the vid fluttermoth?

You should up the number of tiger bars as they are know to be fin nippers. This should ease aggression later on. Also up the number of torpedoes to 5 or 6 as they need to be in groups.

Also what size tank have you got them in? As Nothing smaller than a tank of 5 foot in length (preferably 6 foot) will be big enough for torpedoes. They grow quite big and are very fast and active swimmers

How many tiger barbs could I have in a 3ft 120l tank?

I actually restocked my tank from scratch so have 12 barbs, 2 kribs, a few black neons that are survivors and some amanos, not sure what i will get next, probably a pair of something, possibly 2 more kribs or bolivian rams

How big is your tank? Like said it would be good to get a group of 8-10 barbs really, i find the kribensis to e a great tankmate though, basically you need fish that can stick up for themselves or keep to themselves
