Hey I never said i wasn't a liar...

I just want a few suggestion for my small 13G tank. I currently have 5 black widow tetras, 5 cadinals and 3 cories. The Black Widows are going back to LFS tomorrow which leaves me a bit of stocking space left. I know cories like groups of 6 but I really don't have the space but I want one more to take it up to 4 if I can find an albino pepper. But that will leave me with a small amount of stocking space. any suggestions for a couple of fish to go in there?

Good to hear that you appreciate Cory are happier in shoals of 4 or more but also the same species too :good:

Sorry, i didn't make myself clear enough on that one. The 3 cories I have so far are peppered which is why I want a peppered albino, therefore the same species. I checked with the guys in the corydoras section and they agreed that they would not even appreiciate that he was an albino, just see him as another peppered. Thats why I said if I can find a 'peppered' albino cory.

Any suggestions as to what else to put in there?

Just checking (as you say, not clear) not critisising....... :good: ......not much space for an increase but providing your filtration system is up to it why not try 4 Harliquines.(6 would be better really)They are quite entertaining at feeding time (darting from mid tank to the surface and back)

No I didn't take it as criticism!! I realised straight away that I hadn't been clear because I wanted the emphasis to be on what else to put in there. Thanks for the suggestion though, sounds like a good idea :good: Filtration and maintanence is excellent, lol well I would say that wouldn't I!?!? But it is coping with the 5 black widows in there at the moment and they are all fully grown and big!!
Anybody else any other input?

Yup, can't imagine anyone saying my filter is c**p. It's a bit like someone saying, I have a car but I am a s***e driver  .....hey :drinks:

Harlequins lovely little fish.
Though there rather jumpy till they settle in, you would have to make sure they don't jump out of the tank during a water change.

How about something a little less froggish, like a dwarf Gourami or a dwarf cichlid like a shell dweller or something.I think that would be pretty lively to watch.

That's exactly what one of mine did! Luckily, I managed to get him back in the tank before any harm was done.
