This is making me so crazy I can't stand it. I have never had all females and no males... I have had no females with males though. But have no males it ripping me apart because I miss having fish with Long Flowing tails and other stuff that females dont have. I miss there flaring! I can't buy another male until one of my girls die but I am just wanting to pull my hair out! I AM NOT USE TO ALL FEMALE BETTA FISH. There I said it. I miss You Beta, Royal, and Carmel...

Perhaps you should be happy with what you have now, rather than waiting until one of your girls die. I would think that you would rather have your girls live healthy and long lives than waiting for them to die.

No but I am getting a test kit today when I get my bigger tanks.
I do want my girls to live long and healthy lives but I am still getting use to the fact of having no male.

Why not just buy a 10litre tank without a filter and just change like 1-2 litres of water every other day and have a male in it, a 10 litre plastic tank would only cost you about £10.

Well, at least you have something than nothing at all.
I hope your females live long lives though.
totally agree :good: with this statement, females are worth just as much as males and just as beautiful to watch

I agree with the above. Rascal is one of the prettiest bettas i've ever had, male or female alike. She's a perfect teal color, mixed with a bright red. Just because her fins aren't long doesn't make her any different.

i don't know about anyone else, but i find the female bettas to be much more beautiful than the males.

even though the long finned males are handsome, i sometimes think of them as being dirty and unclean with all those wispy fins flowing everywhere. it's like long hair that needs to be cut! :fun:

with that said, i love my boy peaceful but i also love looking at my girls of all colors and enjoy their intrinsic beauty!

I never said I liked the males more I am just saying that I am not use to no males.

if your fish continue to die after you've checked your water parameters (if they are all ok) then please contact your local water company to make sure they aren't flushing the systems or anything.

I have 6 girls (3 pk, 2 vt 1 ct) and 3 boys (2vt, 1 ct), the girls are just as gorgeous (if not more) than the boys as they are so tranquil and serene and only one of my boys is chilled, the other two are nuts!

The girls are Midori, Tia, Martini, Colada, Malibu & Grappa.

The boys are Zephyr, Cinzano & Karma.

They are all as gorgous as eachother!

Maybe you should get two more or one more in a larger tank and have a filtered sorority. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the water quality as much; small weekly water changes will do it.
