I have a 30 gal community tank and a 20 gal ram tank, I'm tired of having to do two separate water changes and have two separate tanks so I was hoping to combine them; (sell the two I have and just get a bigger one)

In my 30 gal I have
1 Female Pearl Gourami
2 Female Platys
1 Zebra Danio (I took a group of 6 from my friends 10 gal, but but he's the only one that survived)
6 Panda Corys
1 Male BNP (About 3 inches)

In my 20 gal:
1 German Blue Ram (Gender unknown)
1 Albino BNP (About one inch) - I hope it's a female

6 Pygmy swimming Corys (They're like corys only they're all about half an inch and they swim about all parts of the tank, not just the bottom)

I was thinking of combining tanks; selling my 30 and 20 and buying a 50 or 55 gal set up. But I'm not sure if I should keep the stock I have or start completely fresh. I've grown to love all of the fish I have, but I'm not sure I have a workable stock, as there were a few things I would want to change.

Fish questions:
- I was thinking of getting a second Gourami, would it matter if I got a second female Gourami or would a male be better? My girl is full grown and the ones they sell at the store are half of her size, I don't want her to bully a new one to death.

-Would my 3 inch BNP bother my much smaller albino one or would he leave it alone until it was a larger size

-What are some other interesting fish I can get for the mid-top level of the tank? I figure with 6 Pandas and 2 BNP's the bottom of my tank is covered (And if not I'll just get more corys ;))  But what are some other fish I can get for the upper levels of my tank that are colorful?

I'm run out of time here, but I'll be back with more questions later! :D
