Thinking About Getting A Bigger Tank

hi,

i currently have a light/medium planted tank with 9 neon tetras, 6 corys, 4 gold barbs, and two swordtails. I am thinking of putting them in a 55-75 gallon tank and adding quite a few more fish. decisions decisions. I have no idea what to get. I would like some black tetras and possibly some angelfish. I would like to have a big community going on. any suggestions? i like silver dollars alot but i dont want them to eat my neons and plants. any type of shark i can get? I would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks.

Hi always good news to hear of bigger tanks

Ideas sound okay, if you get Angels though there is a risk they will eat your neons when they get to adult size. Silver Dollars might be okay but only go for them if you get the 75g I reckon.

Just to free up some space and options how about keeping your neons in your current tank? And move the others to the new tank - it just gives you options with bigger fish for the bigger tank.

Yeah i was actually thinking the same thing. The neons are def screwing up my options. The only thing is that I dont know if i want 2 aquariums. I dont want my house to look like a fish store or a zoo. lol. I might do it though. I would like a mix of some semi aggressive and some community fish that wont murder my plant life.
