ok so as u guys know by now, i have been changing my tank over to a much bigger one

i had planned on moving the fish...and filter media(temporarily) until my 2 fluvals worked ok without.

one slight problem, i forgot to put the media back in the tank....and left it in a bucket in the conservatory....will it be dead now?

it gets pretty cold (bout 4-5degrees C) overnight in the conservatory..well the same temp as outside.

will this have killed the filter beings..:(..

good morning, youre onto it early :) if it was in tank water it may just may have made it, but i expect it will have halved by now

lots of testing and water changes are possibly in order, how did it go anyway? did you manage to get it moved eventually?

Was it kept wet? You might have some left, as Shelagh says though, maybe half if your lucky.

As its a pretty mature sponge, I would expect it to catch up pretty quickly, you may need some extra w/c to compensate but it should be ok.
