They Can't Hybridise Can They?

I have one endler left now from a previous breeding group and am shutting down that tank. I have a 65L tank with shrimp/Black Chin Livebearers (Girardinus metallicus). There's no possibility of the Endler being able to hybridise with the Black Chins is there? I'm pretty sure not, they're from different parts of the world and not the same genus, but I just wanted to be sure!

They are very remote relatives so I suspect they could not breed successfully. They don't even share a genus name but we all know how often fish get renamed so that is no guarantee. I would suspect it was no more likely than a molly crossing with a black chin.

together at the same time and they didn't cross
at all so i think you should be OK
