My angels have spawned. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I'm so excited!

Congrats on the Angels, post pics of the eggs if you can.

I know it's too soon to be so happy. I can't help it though! I stupidly added 6 cories on saturday. Will they eat the eggs?

They look great too, I can't believe how many there are. Beautiful Angel also, someday I'll try some Angels. Not sure if Corys eat eggs or not but they probably do. Keep us updated on their progress.

Cheers guys. I'll do my best. I'm frantically researching how to take care of them but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. I think I'll have to put the cories into a different tank. I feel kind of bad seeing as I only got them on Saturday.

Nope, when they get so weakened, they never show up, they most likely couldn't defend themselves when they landed on the sand. That's where Chrome spent most of his time today.

I won't let Sushi and Ninja back to main tank till I figure out just what the heck is happening here. Maybe I'll even let them there till they reach 3.5 cm if they survive, so I can at least say I've managed to get some swordie fry past 3 cm... it's like a curse that I never managed to get them past that size.

Sorry Detona. It's always hard to lose fish. Fry especially as we watch them from birth. Sometimes fish are just born weaker. Maybe that is all.

I doubt they were born weaker, something happened when I did that large water change the day before it happened. I was watching Chrome and he had something in his gills, causing him to breathe fast. But he calmed down then. Last time I saw him, 30 mins before he was gone, he was at the surface with the other 2 fry, after spending most of his time on the sand. Then I looked away and 30 mins later, he was gone, nowhere to be found.
At least Sushi and Ninja are ok. I gave Sushi a tiny bloodworm since he seems to handle them well.

Edit: I don't like my real name, it's Mihaela. And I hate being called Miha. That's what mom calls me and I don't like it. It's also a too common name. Rather people call me Deto.

Yeah. They're being quite good parents considering it's their first spawn. They've been picking off all the white, unfertilized eggs (which is about 30% of them - Romeo's aim isn't all that great ) and Juliet's fanning them quite a lot.

Yeah. They're being quite good parents considering it's their first spawn. They've been picking off all the white, unfertilized eggs (which is about 10% of them - Romeo's aim isn't all that great ) and Juliet's fanning them quite a lot.

I'm a bit worried about Ninja, they're both in fry cage and he's hiding under its frame. But he lives up to the Ninja name. All his life has been spent mostly in hiding.
