A steady diet of frozen bloodworms should make them rounder than a Bratwurst! :pepsi: :drinks:

Why? Are you trying to fatten them up? AND EAT THEM LIKE BRATWURST!?

I am constantly feeding bloodworms! It's a matter of getting them to the bottom without the zebra danios, platies, hoplos, cories or pleco getting them first...

Since I changed the scape to rocks, I never saw them for about 2 weeks, so on the weekend I took all of the rocks out to check if they were okay, and I found em'! that's when I got those pics I posted earlier...

I want to fatten em' and tame em' so I can see them more  Before I changed the scape they were always out! Now I never see them!

Try adding a cave or a coconut hut! When I installed my decked-out PVC pipe, those dang loaches won't stay out!

The more places they have to hide, the more they will be out! They also hate coming out into bright light due to their sensitive eyes. Add broad leafed plants like Amazon Swords or floating plants to block out the light, or almond leaves to give them shelter. They also love to eat the microflora and fauna that grows on them! :good:

Arghhhh! Hey Lovelies is infested with Kuhlis!!!! Great Kuhli pics guys......eventually I'll get 6 or so for my 36 gallon.

Last night I did a 50% water change & I finally caught that Marigold Variatus. He now resides in my 20 high. He's been in that tank before......

I couldn't catch a single Lemon Tetra though, I swear. I had a small container filled with tank water, ready to go, and I couldn't snag a single one! They are fast but also very smart! They zig zag between the plants & I was crushing the plants just to even get near them with the net. I caught all the Von Rio Tetras with no problems and a tank full of water, but these Lemons are impossible even with the tank only half full!

The plan of course is to move the Lemons to the 20 & the Glass Cats to the 36. I will not be denied.........

Good song CF, first I've heard of them......

Hey lovelies! My friend has recently gotten a freshwater tank, so out of my reccomendation he's ordering 6 kuhli loaches and 8 cardinal tetras for his 37 gallon tank, that also has 3 balloon mollies, 1 rubberlip pleco (not my recommendation), and I think 1 other. He's agreed to let me add 6 Pygmy cories to his order :D

Crossfire, they had an Abino Kuhli on Aquabid... No. Kidding.... I refreshedthe page, boom. Gone....

Do any of you Lovelies have a clown plec? I rarely see mine. He chomps at the wood but I'm concerned he might not be getting a good mix where his diet is concerned. If I plonk in an algae wafer the rest of them dive on it. Any tips?

Put the algae wafer in when the tank lights are off and the fish are asleep. Be very slow, creeeep up on the tank and don't make any sudden movements or noises. very, very quietly open the lid and try to plop the algae wafer in there the pleco lives. :shifty:

And I warn you, once one fish sees you and wakes up, they ALL wake up, and once they get that algae wafer, there ain't no saving it. However my pleco has learned that when an algae wafer is put into the tank, all of my fish will swarm it. He gets annoyed and just swims through the crowd, sucks the wafer to his lips and smacks anything that comes near him with his tail. :flex:

Tis' never a dull moment in my tank
