Thats it for now.

:kewlpics: Looking good Jeremy. Im actully using some racks in my garage that are rated at 750lbs per shelf. Im going to up 2 55's and some 29's on there for Discus raising/breeding.

Yer I was thinking that, there's not 1 space without a group of tanks there!!!

Do you use fishshop type filtration? or have them all with there own?

looks amazing!!

Wow that is amazing, where did you get all the tanks from :|?
Some of the tanks were purchased new. Most came from other larger scale breeders and hobbiest.

EDIT: I'm also selling a bunhc of the 10 gallons. I have more than I need. I can only utilize so many of them. I need to move in larger tanks for growout space at this point. The original 10g rack on the right side of the room will likely be the next piece to go, followed by the 135. I'd really like to cram in as many 40 breders and 75's as I can.

There is a gast linear air pump running through 1" pvc across the whole room. The filters are all sponge filters and bubble up box filters. Air driven filters are the way to go when talking about this many tanks.

I have a few HOB filters going on 3 of the tanks though, but these are all really just temporary. EVERY tank in the room will be running exclusively on air driven filters eventually.

With me having moved back to school already though, progress over the next few months will be slow. I've been gone for about 3 weeks so far and only lost 1 fish out of the whole bunch. Not bad I say. Things just might work out while I'm away afterall. :)

How do you do water changes in all of those tanks???

I do water changes every weekend. I split the tanks up in half so that each tank gets done every other week.

I do manual water changes; no automation at this point. I siphon and fill with a hose. It doesnt take as long as it may seem. I have an idea for some hang-in-tank PVC tubes to do automatic water changes, but thats a project for the future.

So I guess you use dechlorinator when you add the tap water? (using python?)
Did you build the room with the floor water proof by any chance?

Sorry about many questions - I'm a very curious person...

I use prime or pond prime to treat the water for chloramines. I'm currently using some big als general purpose water conditioner for this purpose until I run out.

I dont use a python. Just a clear hose. Thats it. Siphon with mouth, fill from tap.

The room is in the basement, so I had no need to treat the floor. Concrete doesnt have a problem with the little ammount of water that gets spilled on it.
