the First bugging question

The clown Idea has been noted as i quite like them but i was under the impresion they grow quite large. The most important thing for me is colour as i have a very stressful Job and love just watching them. + I love the variation

You are correct....

They are capable of attaining a size of 12" in a proper size aquarium.

They are quite long lived and thus slow growers. I believe in a 4ft tank 4-5 would be alright. For the first year or so they put on size at a good pace, but then growth slows down considerably.

I currently have 24 clown loaches (at a size of 3.5") in a 6ft tank. Man what a display!!!!

I do plan on thinning this out to about a dozen or so.

Yeah as CM says they can get big but often dont achieve this in aquaria  ....

....anyway might give you an excuse to get a bigger tank in a few years :D

clown loach

:)

Yep a few more corries - as they appreciate there own kind - you can even add different types and they are quite happy :D

Is it possible to put nice colourful Cichilids in with what I have?

Well we carnt answer that untill we know the exact fish u have allready ;)

could allways be an issue that i have taken back the three striped one to the LFS today so that solves that one. Just the dwarf similar to the picture above to figure out.
