Picked this guy up a few days ago as a replacement for the EBJD that i lost a few weeks ago, he isn't the boldest JD, but he has settled into the tank well given he is easily a good 4-5",
He had been living in a tank with about 8 Convicts and a small Gibbiceps that I now also own (see below)

He's still a bit shy so pictures aren't great.

Also thought I'd post a couple of my Nic as he has become quite bold lately and no longer seems to mind the camera being pointed in his direction.

And one of the poser in the group

And my other recent addition, 3-4" Gibbiceps,

They're all lovely.

Can tell the Sev is the poser...Pretty sure it's actually looking at you checking if you've taken the picture yet.

Look like the gibbiceps got a bit beaten up in it's previous tank :(
Will look fab once those fins have regrown. If I had the room then I'd definitely have one! :)

Thanks, yes the Sev loves it when i get the camera out, immediately out at the front strutting his stuff.
The Gibbiceps has settled in great given his ordeal and is easily the boldest plec i own, always out in the open which is good, :good:

Nice fish Davo, I especially love your nicaraguense, I had a really nice pair about ten years ago. Your tank must look great with those three and your plec.

plan is to rehome all of the dithers once my sajica, T.Ellioti and Aequidens Sp. grow another 2" or so and have a predominantly all Male Cichlid Display tank

i really like the wood your using in there.

Thanks guys :good:

Yeah I really like the redmoor and luckily the price was quite reasonable, the big piece on the left was £16 and is about 3ft long and about 18" x 15" at its widest points, and the piece on the right was free, as it fell off a tree.

lovely fish davo. love the gibbi. makes me kinda miss mine .

What did your EBJD die of ? As you know I just got one. So I'm wondering what to look out for.

I like these fish alot dude its interesting mix. The second fish the nicaraguense is very cool. Nice looking tank too

Nice fish but there seems to be a mistake, I can't find a thread "the small three"?

=)
