I just want to thank all the members of this forum for their help. In January I renewed my interest in aquarium keeping. It has been almost 3 months now and I have been extremely successful. I have not lost one fish. I have had 2 sick fish, that I helped to heal. I enjoy my aquarium everyday and plan on purchasing another tank very soon. I don't think I would be nearly as successful without the help of you all.

Thank you!

I second this - thank you to the mods/admin who devote so much time to keeping this forum going and to the many expereinced fishkeepers who tolerate all of us newbies!

 :drinks: :friends:

:thanks:

I also owe a lot of "thank you"s and apologies to the people on this forum.
Thank you for saving my fish from living in a small aquarium and from dying.
Thank you for the advice and answers to all my questions.
Thank you for giving me the courage to make a change and confront my mother about getting a bigger tank.

I am sorry that I had to be the newb that didn't research stuff before getting the fish (well, the only fish I got by myself were the swordtails, on which I did a bit of research but not enough)
I am sorry for making these newbie threads/posts constantly about minor stuff (sorry to Tizer mostly on this one).
I am sorry for being slow in acquiring the things I need, but I am getting them, and as soon as my card is released (they said 5 working days), I will get the nitrite kit, then when I get the rest of the money I'll get more stuff.
And most of all, sorry for being stubborn but it's hard to change and give up on a hobby I've been carrying on for many years even though back then I knew next to nothing about fish keeping.

It's all a learning curve, even the most experienced people were clueless once.

Aww heck Ill jump in here too and extend a thank you to every one that has helped me and will help me down the road. Thanks to you, I now have close to 200 gallons of water all over the house, along with 15 fish! Also, my sons thank you for not having them go though the hassle of being sad because a fish died! Granted, fish do not live forever but at least it will not be my fault :) .

Lol :D Nobody minds if you make threads asking for advice, least of all me. Its the posts that get a little descriptive about your fish poo and how often its done a poo that get a little tedious :D Did make me lol though :)

this forum is invaluable to those who care about fish. I too was clueless when I first started and have gleaned all my information from here. No matter how experienced you are there is still so much to learn and pass on :good:
