Blurgh no, had a fluval, nightmare to prime, drove me insane.

Glad it's sorted. If the noise comes back, something is loose that shouldn't be, and it's time to arrage sending it back

I think onebto was trying to start the whole Tetratec Vs Eheim Vs Fluval debate with me + others again. I won't raise to that

hia minx, hope u have this sorte as it can be soooooo annoying, i havent ever had a prob with mine, but give it a few days if it hasnt then take it back, cos honestly there is nothing noisy about these filters, i have 2 and have never heard them

when do we get to see more pics of the tank by the way ... was looking stunning the last time, just after set up, but must look even better now that its all settled

Well this morning, its still silent, so obviously originally it wasnt set up right

You might think its looking better now its settled, but unfortunately my plants arent doing so good, apparently I need co2 but no idea how to go about it, needing a pressurized system on a large tank will cost a bomb that I cant afford right now

But the fish are happy so thats all that matters for now

why not go for a couple of diy systems for now, i had 2 back in the days of no oscars and they worked a treat (co2)
