Tell Me We Are Not Mad

Hi,
Did my normal readings this morning ..and after got me thinking...Other animal lovers must think we are a mad Bunch...First we add AMMONIA to a Tank..then we watch carefully for a NITRITE reading and cheer and celebrate when we get one...Next as AMMONIA drops and NITRITES get higher..we cheer some more and celebrate the arrival of NITRATES...Then...we cheer and celebrate when NITRITES start dropping and NITRATES get higher and higher...Then we after a while add fish..Now.. when we see NITRITES which we wanted for so long, we curse and rush around doing stuff to get rid of it...Ahh .. but there are also the wee beggers called NITRATES which at one time we welcomed.. so what do we do.. change the water to get rid of them ...while all this is going on.. the fish we have now added are swimming around in their lovely ideal water not giving a monkies of what we did for them .. Ungrateful beggers.... Right now that brings me to children.. now we bring them into the world.. and .. O.k. wont go there lol Regards Zac
