Okay, so I would like to buy some tankmates for the two Angelfish in my aquarium. Basically, I would like a small shoaling fish. I would love Neon or Ember Tetras, but they are too small of course.

My tank is 100l. I don't know the dimensions/whatever.

Suggestions?

Not sure on the neons as angels eat them in the wild.
Some say that have kept neon tetra with angels with no problems, then some say there angels snacked on the neons.
So its up to you.

i believe that is prolly y he said they are too small of course. Umm.. try timstropicals.com and goto compatibility or gallery. you might find some good ideas there, and double check with us cuz the compatibility on there isnt the best all the time. they just dont always include all compatible fish.

i have seen discus tanks with full sized angels in them in fish shops, and cardinal tetras were the dither fish and when fully grown should be ok with angels, the bonus is they not only look similar to neons, i belive they are prettier, just my opinion

Thomas, it's been explained to you before that the Serpae Tetras won't mix well with your Angels. They are very nippy and will end up causing damage to your Angels. :/

idk if there appealing to you, but i like personally black neon tetras. when in a group, despite the fact they arent glowing blue like neons or cardinals, they look amazing. They generally get a bit bigger then regular neons, i think they would be ok unless ur angels are larger sized currently. If so and you think they might be a good meal then either keep ur eyes open (ive seen the lfs sell small black neons, and then have the next shipment be twice the size).

Just a thought anyways...
