i put this here as know not a better place, but technicaly im not a biginner.

now i have a 125 leter tank upstairs in my room, and its not a posability to move downstairs, now at first Great, dad ( a civil eng) says ya "should" be ok, but not sure. Im paranoyed that its getting to much and im worried that the floor will cave in, its located next to the outer wall and there is a wall or 2 below. but any ideas would be much apreshiated.... I think a down size to an 80 or even 60 leter is needed   , any ideas...........

Thank you in advance

hmmm yes, gess houses are a lil diff to multi-story buildings anf International Runways!!!

right that asnwers that.. as i also have a little 20l and 4 computers (Please Done ask why, MCSE stuff)

thank you. that was one fast reply.

anyone want to swa a 125 leter for a 60?????

just to keep my mind at rest im going for a smaller tank and the change i think will be good,

I have a 155lt upstairs in a timber framed house. Been where I put it for 6 months....no problem. Try to locate joists and make sure your tank bridges 2 or more and you will be fine

It makes a big difference depending on which way you have the tank's weight across the floorboards.

ya, it was between i think3 + joints but the floor acts funny now, thought better to downsize rather than risk it. Theres a Lot of stuff in my room so wana be safe hehe.

Thank you for the info though, darv
