wow yes!! that would be stunning, ahh but with black gravel and some good strong green plants.. ( im not adding any smilies etc cos the thread will be closed at the first sign of enjoying it )

theyve got fish in my lfs that i really want but to have them id have to get rid of the other fish i want to keep , got some new red oscars well nice 1 is black and has lots of the red striping the other black and his sides are almost all red. then they got jack dempseys and green terrors ahhhhhhhgggg

oooohh tricky one.. why not post in the new world cichlid part of the forum, lots of good advice from mostly nutters tell them what you are fancying and they will tell you exactly what is compatible with eachother and your tank , water conditions and all the rest of it.. have to say i dont envy you at this stage .. make your mind up time, i have trouble deciding what shoes to put on in the morning
but research is the key, even if it takes longer than you would ideally like, nothing worse than realising your mistakes further down the line- and you can take that from one who knows

Loving the tree root, cant believe thats not real, im sure the tank will look great when its all set up.
