I havent really bothered posting any images of my tank recently and so i thought i might as well chuck one up for the hell of it :)

Ignore the white breeding trap as its got 3 Leaf Fish that are too small for the tank growing up in there :)

That is a nice clean tidy looking tank :good:

the img tag isn't working i copied the internet address manually to view it.

now i see it.

Nice tank, needs a ground covering foreground plant, then it will be all green :good:

naaa i dont want many plants in the sand, currently the only ones planted are the Red Lilly, the rest are all on the wood. All the fish are Predatory so get meat as a stable diet, having loads of plants would cause no end of mess and problems with invisible un eaten scraps rotting away. Also i really wanted low maintenance, currently all i do is lift the wood out and hoover then swirl the sand about and replace..simple :)

all i need to do is get off my backside and get an in-line heater and replace the Powerball with a Koralia and ill be happy :)

I love the tank! :hyper: It is exactly what I had in mind as I am planning a 40gl african community. Do you use CO2, etc for your plants? I want to go with the planted look like yours, but I really don't want to go back to the high tech planted tank I had a year ago... it was just too high maintinence.

EDIT: Nice, swirly congos

Its an excellent planted tank for the predatory fish, it looks very good.

No Co2, just the occasional addition of liquid ferts (which to be honest is more or less never now) The tank has 2 T5 bulbs which seem to be more than enough to keep everything ticking over nicely.

Love this tank, nice one mate. When you bought the tank, it didn't come with t5s.....did it? Have you added a juwel "high-light" instead or a separate t5 electronic ballast?
Cheers.
