Hi all, well as some of you will know I lost my female Nicaraguan a few weeks ago after having her for nearly 2 years
Really gutted, she was my favorite fish and full of personality.
However I decided a few days ago to get an other female Nicaraguan, so I managed to find some at Wharf after seeing someone else post pics of them on an other forum. So took a trip down today and found a really nice small female and a few others
I came home with a new Whiptail, just a common one but really big and looks great and also an other Flagtail Catfish to go with my group
The other great pick up of today is a female Thorichthys sp. Mixteco Gold
Both of the cichlids are tiny atm which is very cute but worrying around a few of the larger fish - the Nic in particular is worryingly snack size for some of the larger fish
Just hoping she shoots up nicely.
Here are some pics - some of new fish and an update on the older ones
First off the Thorichthys sp. Mixteco Gold
My new female Nicaraguan - got a lot of growing to do but already a fiesty little thing
A slightly new fish only had him a few weeks but is now boss of the tank - My Chocolate Cichlid, we call him Thornton
My mouthbrooding Severum
One of my Geophagus Winemilleri - really hard to get good photos as they move really fast.
Threadfin Acara - really love how much he has grown and coloured up
Full tank
