My sister might be getting 1 or 2 ADFs. I was wondering...

-Is one gallon enough for two?
-How should I set the tank up, do they like lots of plants?

And any information you have would be great... :)

well I have 4 ADF that live in a 20g for around 2 years. I find that they pretty much hang out all together under a fake log in the center of the tank.. As far as a 1g tank Iwould say that you should have at least a 2.5 or 5 g to let the frogs be comfortable. A 5g could house 3 fine. They also like to have a place to hide and in deeper tanks over 12 inches high a plant (fake or real) to rest on for those trips to the surface for air.
anyway good luke with your ADFs

I would suggest at least a 2 gallon, but a 5 gallon would be perfect. It's good to get a pair, they don't get lonley if they are kept alone but it's very entertaning to watch two of them interact! Make sure to put a nice plant in there (live or silk), mine enjoy taking naps on the plant leaves. They like to have a safe place to hide, so putting in a little cave would also be great for them.
