Hi All

I think I maybe able to add my two angels and silvershark into their new home come the weekend  They will love the extra space...

I cycled the tank like suggested by using my other tank media and some of the items and then after a while added some danio's. I checked the water today and all are in the safe zones and the cloudy water has now cleared nicely.

Any advice on how to move fairly big fish from one tank to another???

If I cant float them to acclimatise them to the tank temperature how do I do this? Both tanks are set at the same temperature but I cant take the chance that this is actually the case can I?

Do a drip acclimation instead. Grab a piece of airline tubing and tie a loose knot in it. Get a siphon started delivering water to the bucket, which has a fairly low level in it, and then tighten the knot until you get a nice steady drip. When the water in the bucket has tripled its volume or more, it will be mostly tank water and the temperatures will be very close. Net the fish into the new tank and top off the tank with water.
