Tank Lighting...!

Was gonna buy 2x clip-on light reflectors for my Juwel tank, but have an idea...!!!
Instead of paying £10 per reflector (I would need 2 of) I was thinking of getting some foil tape, as used in air conditioning ducting, and sticking to underside of the top lids.
Any thoughts...?

No reason it shouldn't work. If you wanted to go super low tech, you could even use tin foil!

I dont know how well the tape will hold in a damp environment, but I would go for it.

It would work, I made up a homemade light unit using a piece of black guttering with normal tin foil stuck to the inside, the lighting was so strong I ended up just using the 1 bulb!!

Just 1 bulb was in use here, plenty bright enough.
