10 bucks

LOve your tank.
LOve your sevrum.(How much did he cost you?)
And i don't know if you noticed in the last picture there is a nice little clown loach poking out, He looks awesome
Thanks for the nice comments everyone :)

He cost me 12.50 euro but he was only a little one then, about an inch and a half.
Ye the Clown sticking his nose out is funny, there are six Clowns in there in total.

That set up looks fantastic Nidge

How many Silver Sharks are in there? What size are they? & are they at all skittish?

When I first started out I had a bad experience with a Silver Shark, I bought just one (7inch+) along with other smaller fish & he just flew from left to right nearly allday long. He ended up being totally stressed so I gave him to a LFS to move on for me before something serious happened to him.

To be honest I'd heard you shouldn't keep just one Silver Shark on its own - but you know what its like when you first start out!!

Would love to try again with 3 or 4 sometime. Any Silver Shark advice greatly appreciated?

I have two Bala sharks and they are about 5-6 inch long and yes they are very skittish, not as much as they were a few years ago. During mainteinance you have to be careful as tend to jump. My two never leave each others side either, Bala's are great fish and are really easy to keep and are tolerant of most water conditions and beginners.

They do grow very large eventually so a large tank is essential. They will also take most foods and i have found they love frozen foods the most like Krill and Brine shrimp. Normally you will see them foraging on the bottom looking for food in the substrate.

Hope this helps.

A few more pictures :D
