my female swordtail has just dropped some fry and i have put them in a breeder net along with some older platy and molly fry ranging between a couple weeks and 7 weeks. im just wondering will the other fry bother them as the swordtail fry are tiny

Aww! Congrats!
Would LOVE to see pics!
Anyhow, I think those 7 week old fry can be released, unless you have super aggressive fish or very big fish in your main tank.
Breeder nets aren't the best way to raise fish. It would be great to get an extra 10 gallon to raise them in.

Good luck! :good:

Enchore!!!!

You are right Paudie, swordtail fry are some of the smallest livebearer fry that you are likely to see. I would be reluctant to put them with a 7 week old molly or platy fry. The mollies might not bother them but the platies might very well decide they were a snack.
