I woke up this morning (like two minutes ago, sorry if i can't spell) and i saw Aladdin fighting to stay upright in the water. poor boy kept floating upwards and to his side, but he would fighti t the entire time. silly boy wedged himself between a plant and the side ofthe tank to keep himself upright. what can i do for my poor boy? i don't wanna lose himalready.

sounds like he may be constipated. Have you any frozen peas? If so just put one in boiling water for a minute, take shell off and try to get him to eat some :good:

Agreed, a cooked shelled pea, it would also help if there was anyway you could bare bottom the tank without stressing him out, so you can see when the little fella goes to the bathroom.

if hes more tail down its swim bladder, more nose down its constipation. If hes no better increase the temp to 80/82 if you can and add a little aquarium salt. One of mine came with SB and hes ok now after doing that

he was nose down and on his side. i swear the little guy was just keeping me on my toes - i panicked all through school today and i came home and he was swimming around fine  . crazy boy.
