Suggestions

Here is my current fish. I was wondering is there a cichlid I could add that would get along with everyone. I don't want rams because I tried them before and it didn't work. Thankx in advance.

55 gallon
1 gold killifish
1 angelfish
4 congo tetras
5 rosy barbs
2 albino corys
2 panda corys
2 bronze corys
1 whiptail catfish
1 clown pleco
1 spotted rubbernose pleco

perhaps Firemouth? a nice looking fish, not aggressive. i'm not sure about all of them, but i have a Blue Acara and it is quite happy, living in peace with its tank mates. it is a striking looking fish too.

I wish I could have a keyhole, but they're not available in my area. I could probably find an acara somewhere around here though and we have plenty of firemouths. Thankx. Anymore?

apistos or kirbensis.

WHy didn't the rams work?

Both died at around the same time. Don't know what was wrong with them. They would move slowly and not very active. I don't want the same thing happening again. And I don't think I'll ever find apistos in my area. Kribs are okay too; thanks. Going to the fish store today to look at the selection. Probably going to take my camera to get some video.

I would caution against the kribs with so many cories, they can be really aggressive when spawning.

Ditto the suggestion for a firemouth, get approx the same size as the angel if possible.

If you want a bottom dweller, maybe geophagus?

I now have two angels. Just bought another one. Will post pic. Would it be okay to add two firemouths with the two angels?
