I'm really running out of ideas now. My tank is still foggy after about 3 weeks. I've reduced the amount of fish as much as I can, reduced the amount of food given, vacuumed the gravel, adjusted the filter settings (flow), added Cycle, added Biozyme (separately), borrowed the filter off an established tank, tried Accu-Clear, I just don't know what else to do. Leaving it alone doesn't help at all...just gets worse. My ammonia is 0, my nitrites are 0, my PH is 7.0. I feed a variety including Tetramin flakes, Tetramin Pro Crisps, Tetramin tablets, Hikari Algae Wafers, Hikari bloodworms, Hikari Brine Shrimp, Bettamin Flakes, OSI Spirulina Pellets etc. Please help...this is very frustrating.:-(

Are you over feeding as this can cause cloudy water, how many fish and what size tank is it.

Ok you ready for this...its a 10g and it has 2 fancy guppies, 2 green cories, 2 platies, 2 gouramis, 1 CAE. I just removed 2 goldfish. I just changed my filter from a Whisper 10 to Whisper 20. I've reduced the feeding since about 2 weeks ago.

You are wayyyy over stocked their.

2 fancy guppies, 2 green cories, 2 platies, 2 gouramis, 1 CAE. I just removed 2 goldfish

Cories= 5-6 fish atleast, and need atleast 30 gallons
Platies= Fine must have atleast 10 gallons
Guppies= Need atleast 20 gallons
CAE= Needs atleast 30 gallons

So you are already over stocked, what kind of gouramis are they? Other than that I would say that you just get a 30 gallon tank.

If you have just removed the two goldfish thats why the tank is cloudy as the filter wouldn't have coped with the goldfish, big waste producers, I would recommend a water change.

Yeah gold fish are major waste producers, I only like to keep them in ponds personally.

I know the tank is overstocked but I cant take out any more fish since I have no where to put them. I did do a 50% water change about a week and a half ago after I removed the goldfish.

could always get another ten gallon, get a sponge filter, and put them in there. Or upgrade to a 20 gallon tank.

Your sponges might need a rinse in old tank water if you have been keeping goldfish in there as they will be a mess and this is why your tank is foggy take a look.

I will take a look when I go home but I didnt rinse the filter when I did a water change. any other suggestions anyone. I really dont have the room for a bigger tank. I have limited living space. I'm getting desperate.

Believe me I keep fancy goldfish and no what mess they can make, dosn't take them long to mess a small filter up.
