:yahoo: Congrats!

I love it when my bettas make nests! My female VT, Annie, made a bubblenest in my community tank this morning. But she ate it because I took a picture of it! lol!

I don't own a betta, so I don't really know, but I thought that only males make bubblenests. Is this true? And congrats, Comocrayfish5! :hyper:

Males are more known for making bubblenests due to the fact that they build them when they are breeding. But female bettas are capable of making bubblenests.
Sometimes, in place of the male, breeders leave the females with the fry when breeding them. This is not a very common method, but it is possible.

i cna wait to breed them! i was thinking of naming him something related to 'bid' (a.k.a- Blessing In Disguise, because i thought he would be a wast of money, but i guess not!)

Why not just call him happy? After all it is what you thought of him when you saw his nest.

i was thinking that but someone suggested Frank for a funny name and i liked it so his name if Frank!
